What’s Happening in Growing God’s Way Children’s Ministry
I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Katrina for stepping in for me and making sure things ran smoothly Sunday mornings! I would also like to thank you all for your prayers and kindness during my recovery. I am so very thankful for a wonderful church family!
Lil’ Sprouts (6wks.-3yrs.) Thank you God for COLORS! Children will enjoy the wonderful creation of colors with books and posters. Remember children are NEVER TOO YOUNG to learn about God and His amazing love!
Sprouts and Evergreens, will continue to meet as a one large group throughout the summer. July we will continue to teach about Jesus’ Miracles. Ask your children questions…What book of Bible were you in today? What miracle did you learn about? Who did the miracle? Can anyone do a miracle? What can you do this week to show the love of Jesus?
CONVERSATION STARTERS…I hope you are enjoying the Conversation Starters, and they are helping build some good conversations. Don’t forget to look at the weekly question on the bulletin board in the lobby, use a post it note and share your answer!
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS, if you have a heart for children and would like to serve as a floater, teacher, or assistant in a room please let me know. I am looking for floaters for the remaining of the summer (a floater goes where there is a need). In the fall all three rooms will be open so more volunteers will be needed. Let me know if you are interested in making a difference in the life of our children. Training will be provided.
HUGE SHOUT OUT TO…CHET, TED, AND PASTOR BLAKE FOR PUTTING UP THE SWING SET! REMINDER: For safety reasons children should not be outside unsupervised.
