They’re here! We are so glad to have them join us in the ministry God has for our church. As you may already know, Blake has a BS in Finance and Economics and an M. Div. plus an ACBC counseling certification. Kayleen has a degree in Social Work. They met in college through CRU and have both been on mission trips to Africa and Nicaragua.
You may have noticed a lot of boxes of books in the hallway Sunday. If the number of books he brought is any indication, Blake’s an avid reader.
Kayleen loves animals and they own two miniature Australian Shepherds, that were both rescue dogs. Blake enjoys a good debate and they both like CrossFit. There’s the strong possibility that they are Vikings fans, so they know how to have hope.
While Blake loves hot, steamy weather and does not like winter (even though he’s from the Mankato area) Kayleen does not like hot weather and likes to cross country ski in the winter. Wisconsin certainly has weather they can both enjoy, at times.
Blake enjoys a good burger and Kayleen’s favorite snack food is popcorn. Camping is not up Blake’s alley and he doesn’t swim but a trip to Chipotle would great.
As they join us here in Appleton let’s rejoice and thank God for all His blessings and the plans He has for us.
